It was time for a new family pet. My daughter had been wanting a bearded dragon for some time but wanted something different from what a number of her friends already had.
She decided on a Leopard Gecko. They are very tame, don’t grow too large, and are an easy beginner’s reptile.Â
After some research I found the basic items needed to build a good home for our new friend. The are many different brands and options to build your tank, but these were the ones that seemed to provide the best benefits for easy care. Â
Some of the items were very expensive when we visited the local store. Since there was no waiting any longer as our Daughter had one picked out, I worked with the sales person to price match either Amazon or Chewy. That resulted in me not have to order all the products online without seeing them and of course we could take everything home and set up the new home for the Gecko.
